WHAT TO EXPECT
Visiting anywhere for the first time can be a little scary let alone a new church, especially if you aren’t a Christian.
Below are a few of the questions you may have about visiting and their answers. We hope that as you read them some of your fears may be relieved and you can come straight in feeling like you are part of the family straight away. If you have any other questions or concerns please feel free to contact us.
What can I expect at a Sunday meeting?
Warm and friendly people, engaging worship, an applicable message that centres on God’s Word and an opportunity to meet with Jesus. We finish off the morning with a delicious morning tea and barista made coffee.
What if I don’t know where to go or where to take my kids?
We have people ready to welcome you and who are happy to help with any questions you may have. If you have kids, we have a fantastic kids program that happens during the service.
What is the style of your meetings?
We are not just singing songs about God, we’re singing songs to God, because we believe He is present in our gatherings. We’re passionate about God, and the expressions of our passion are spontaneous and never forced. Sometimes, as we see modelled in the Bible, we’ll lift up our hands, close our eyes, dance or kneel.
What should I wear?
Whatever you normally wear are comfortable in. Typically, people are dressed casually but feel free to wear whatever suits you on a Sunday!
A wise Swedish proverb states ‘a shared joy is a double joy.’ When we worship Jesus together, our awe of Him is magnified and increased

Will I be forced to do something I don’t want to do?
We are so glad you’re visiting us. You will not be pushed to do anything you don’t want to do. We will not make you stand up in front of everybody as a first-time guest or introduce yourself. There are a lot of great people to meet and a lot of great things happening on a Sunday morning, but the level of your participation will be totally up to you.
What about my kids?
We offer care for children from 18 months to Grade 6, and offer a fun, engaging program for all children. You’ll be able to meet the kids leaders before the service and see the kids’ space in the back of the church. Our children’s programs begins after our corporate time of praise and worship.
What about children under 18 months?
We have a beautiful and comfortable parents’ room where parents can take their children if they are unsettled during the meeting or just need a quiet space. The room has a video feed of the service so you don’t miss a beat. Otherwise, children are more than welcome to join us throughout church.
When and Where?
Our Sunday morning meeting is at 10 am–see the contact us tab for directions. We also have a number of connect groups, prayer and other ministries that take place at various times throughout the week–see the events tab for more information.
