— Mission is the Church in action

As those who have received the love of Jesus Christ, it’s our privilege, purpose and passion to share the good news of salvation to those who don’t know Him. Our heart for mission begins with our friends & family, extends to our community and reaches the nations. We live by “Go therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. And remember I am with you always.”

LIGHTHOUSE CHURCH CURRENTLY SUPPORTS MISSIONS IN:

Mark and Gina Borg – Malta.

Pastor AJ and Jit Janee – Thailand

MALTA

— Mark and Gina Borg

The Borgs are Mark, Gina, adult daughter Angie and their four home educated children Zara, Caleb, James and Rose. They are musicians by trade and have been ministers of the gospel in various settings over the past 12 years, from working full time on the pastoral team of a church plant to pastoral care of the elderly. Mark also has a unique gift of professionally entertaining as an Elvis Tribute Artist.

This gift has both supported their family and led them into local and international evangelistic ministry opportunities.

The Borgs are currently working in local church ministry in an established fellowship and, as the Lord leads, they are available for creative outreach both in local churches within Malta and neighbouring countries. They plan to work towards a future church plant in Malta.

Malta Prayer Points

1. For the Lord to open strategic doors into the comunity for Mark, Gina and children to be used in their creative and musical giftings, to express the love of Jesus.

 

2. Pray for the Lord to remove religious hinderances that restricts the Maltese people from receiving Jesus Chirst as their Saviour.

 

3. For ongoing and increased provision of finances and other resources so that the Lords works may continue in this region.

Chiang Rai, Thailand

— Pastor AJ and Jit Janee

AJ and Jit Janee are the Senior Pastors at Freedom Worship Church in Chiang Rai, Thailand. They planted Freedom Worship Church in 2015 after many years of leading churches in Thailand and have also been running Shalom House, a project providing housing, education and care for young at-risk girls in their community. AJ and Jit are blessed with two sons, Shawn and Peace who are 11 and 8 years old.

Their mission is to lead lost people to Jesus and their vision for the future is to take the gospel further afield to China, Laos and Myanmar.

Lighthouse Church is actively involved in supporting both these ministries through the faithful giving of our members, ongoing prayer support and by visiting these regions as the Lord leads us.
