who is ncmi

Often we are asked: what type of church are we? Are we part of a denomination? What is our accountability structure?

Lighthouse Christian Church is a local, eldership-led church that is affiliated with an apostolic team called New Covenant Ministries International (NCMI). NCMI is a trans-local ministry team, composed of men and women who help build and equip local churches, mobilising believers for the work of God’s Kingdom. Hence, NCMI is not an organisation or grouping of churches, but rather a team of individuals who are committed to the advance of His Kingdom.

NCMI is currently working into over 80 different countries, and there are churches in many of these nations that are voluntarily linked with NCMI. The relationship NCMI has with local churches is very important as we work together to bring the good news of Jesus to the nations.

The churches that relate to NCMI come from many different backgrounds: some are newly planted, others have been established longer than NCMI. Some have related to NCMI since their inception, others have come later. Whatever the case, these local churches have found an expression of the apostolic/prophetic Christianity they want to be a part of in NCMI.

At The Lighthouse Christian Church, we find encouragement and accountability in NCMI as we work together as a team, motivated by a love for Jesus Christ.
